Kim's Story

Kim had a history of depression and could feel herself sliding back to it. She would stay in bed all day with the curtains closed, not wanting to go out and face the world. Sometimes even having panic attacks.

No Limits was able to offer her counselling and support through our drop-in centres. Through counselling, Kim talked about her sadness and dealt with the anger that had built up over the years, stemming from childhood issues.  With each session, Kim’s anger and depression began to disappear until she felt in a much calmer place. She has since built up her confidence and now works as a support worker.

“I love helping others and seeing others happy makes me happy. Having the support from No Limits really made a difference to me, lifting me out of my depression so that now I look forward to every day”
